The brutalist style, the minimalist style, and the organic architecture blend together in the design of this collection inspired by the architectures of Louis Kahn and the masters of concrete architectures of the 1950s and 1960s. The warmth of chestnut wood and the coldness of the cement, the strength of the naked materials, combined with the geometric purity of the rectangle, make this jewel a true wearable architecture. LIMITED AND NUMBERED EDITION 2019: 99 pieces - Materials: light concrete obtained with 425 cement and Italian marble powder, chestnut wood, hypoallergenic stainless steel 304, black cord lined with cotton. Pendant dimensions: 8x2,5cm [3,1x1 inches] Standard lenght: 77cm [30 inches] Weight: 40gr [1,4 oz] Each piece is hand-crafted and finished with care using from 2012 our original concrete recipe obtained by using high quality cement 4.25, pure Italian marble powder, reinforcements and natural binders that make the object elegant and durable over time. Each piece in the finishing phase is treated with a special natural wax that make it waterproof. The wood is treated using only beeswax. Concrete is a living material that changes with time and with personal use, in contact with the skin it becomes darker, shinier, and harder over time. All the parts and components are hypoallergenic, and high quality materials. No reported allergies due to the concrete. - The pieces may have slight imperfections due to the handwork and the natural composition of the material that make each piece unique.
